Indicator’s Wording
Number of communities where people profess hope for the future
to be added
Indicator’s Purpose
To demonstrate the perceived overall improvement in the situation by assessing the breadth of change within and across different geographic areas
How to Collect and Analyse the Required Data
Count the number of communities where there has been an improvement of at least 10% of the baseline score between baseline and endline survey results in the 'hope' indicator. For example if the basline score was 40% , 10% of this would be 4% and so a score of over 44% would suggest a significant change in the level of hope in that community. The communtiy would therefore be included as a 'hopeful community'. if the score was less than 44% the level of change would not be significant and so the community would not be counted.
Disaggregate by
None required but you could disaggregate by province or equivalent to see whether some geographic areas are progressing better or worse than others
