What is its purpose?
To assess the size and reach of a peacebuilding network
How to Collect and Analyse the Required Data
Each peacebuilding network will have had a list of its members made at the time that it was created. A review of the social media network can then be used to see those that are still actively communicating with each other via the network. This can be supplemented by informal surveys or catch ups with network members.
Gender and age group, additional social identiity markers can also be used as required.
To be considered active members of the network there should be some evidence of peacebuilding activity and of engagement with other members.
