What is its purpose?

To assess the effectiveness of spiritual, emotional and social support being provided to trained activists - usually as part of a nurturing process - so that they remain enthused, active and engaged.

How to Collect and Analyse the Required Data

Usually collected as part of a regular survey/questionnaire with activists (rather than with the wider community) throughout the duration of the project. This can also be done during learning fora or gatherings. Possible questions is:

To what extent do you agree or disagree with the following statement: Most of the time I feel a sense of achievement from what I do

Calculate the percentage of those that agree or strongly agree with the statement from the total that have been surveyed or consulted.

Disaggregate by

Gender, age group, faith group, location
