Define Enhanced Capacity:
Specify the aspects of capacity targeted by the projects (e.g., disaster preparedness, knowledge of climate risks, infrastructure improvements).

Clearly outline what constitutes "enhanced capacity," such as increased knowledge, adoption of practices, or functional systems for risk response.

Set Reporting Criteria:

Establish benchmarks for communities to be considered as having enhanced capacity (e.g., meeting specific resilience criteria or scoring above a defined threshold in assessments).

Conduct Data Collection:

Use surveys or interviews to gather data from a representative sample of the target communities.

Employ participatory assessments to gauge community perception of capacity improvements.

Verify responses through observations (e.g., functional early warning systems or visible adoption of resilience-building practices).

Calculate the Indicator Value:

Divide the number of communities reporting enhanced capacity by the total number of targeted communities.

Multiply the result by 100 to convert it into a percentage.


 

Disaggregate Data:

While this indicator generally focuses on community-level data, consider disaggregating by region or type of intervention for deeper insights.
 

Important Comments
Consider including qualitative narratives alongside the percentage to capture contextual factors influencing enhanced capacity, such as cultural or geographic challenges.
