Determine the indicator's value by using the following methodology:
1) Decide which / how many action points set in the target communities’ disaster risk management (DRM) plans have to be implemented so that it can be concluded that the community “completed the action points” (i.e. setting the benchmark).
2) In each community, use interviews with relevant key informants, focus group discussions with the local community members, and a review of documents to assess the types / number of action points that were completed.
3) For each community, decide whether it can be concluded that it completed the action points included in their community DRM plan.
4) To calculate the indicator’s value, divide the number of communities that completed their action points by the total number of surveyed communities. Multiply the result by 100 to convert it to a percentage.
