Subset of the population based household survey - when respondents indicate that they have invested in their household sanitation - either through purchasing sanitation products or services.
Alternatively, if sanitation businesses/entrepreneurs keep records of their customers, this can be a sampling frame from which to undertake random sampling for a representative household survey.
The data should be limited to feedback on sanitation products / services which have been made available through your project's activities.
Survey questions will need to firstly explore the types of products / services procured, before asking specific questions about satisfaction with different aspects. Five-point Likert scale questions are the most helpful to use for this type of indicator - very satisfied, moderately satisfied, neither satisfied or dissatisfied, moderately dissatisfied, very dissatisfied. You might want to subsitute "moderately" with "somewhat" if that is easier to understand.. Questions you may want to consider asking include:
How satisfied were you with the price you paid for the product / service?
How satisfied were you with the choice of products / services available?
How satisfied were you with the ease to purchase the product / service?
How satisfied were you with the quality of the product / service?
If multiple products/services have been procured, then satisfaction with each of them should be explored.
